Manhattan: 9th Avenue - 29th Street (West)

Ninth Avenue (across foreground from left to right) and environs, from W. 29th (intersection at left) to 30th Street (right), showing the New York Central Railroad milk shed and yards extending to Tenth Avenue. The photographer gives his vantage point as the French Hospital which is on the south side of W. 30th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues and he is viewing westward towards the North (Hudson) River and the Jersey Shore.
