Queens: Woodhaven Blvd - Fleet Street

Woodhaven Boulevard, east side, north from Fleet Street (White Pot Road) showing at the corner the site upon which stood the White Pot schoolhouse from 1852 to 1896. In the background is seen Thos. Tompkins farmhouse in 65th Road. The school house was erected on land donated by Jacobus Springstein son of Casper Springstein. The first school was established in 1739.
