Tenth Avenue, west side, north from W. 17th Street, showing the New York Central Railroad trains on the street level and a yard on left. This feature, identifying this thoroughfare as "Death or Railroad Avenue" is soon to be eliminated. An elevated roadbed will be constructed to provide for same.
