Manhattan: Broadway - 61st Street
Broadway, west side, north from 61st Street. Boulevard, as the present Broadway, north of Columbus Circle was then called, was a favorite street for cyclists, as this picture shows. The Empire Hotel is seen in the centre, on the S.W. corner of 63rd Street. This will later be rebuilt as a 14-story hotel. About 1895. International News.
