(1) 4626 to 4640 White Plains Road, east side, between East 240th and East 241st Streets. The large stone and wood house, No. 4626-4628, is the Nereid Fire Co. House. The view is in a northerly direction. P. L. Sperr. (2) An exclusive view of the Nereid Fire Co. House, at No. 4626-4628. June 6, 1928. P.L. Sperr. (3) A view of the south side of the fire house, as seen from the south side of Sommer Street. The latter, no longer in existence in 1937, ran the length of the two houses shown, and connected White Plains Road (left) with Garden Place (the latter, too, is no longer in existence at this date). Also shown is the elevated structure of the I.R.T. White Plains Road subway line. May 24, 1928. P. L. Sperr.
