Queens: Flushing Avenue - 53rd Street
Flushing Ave., southside, west of 53rd Street, showing in the foreground the C.C. Lyon house and Post Office of 1860. Some owners were: Dominick Laube who sold to Peter Reiter who sold to Ernest Nurge. Sheffield Dairy Company now occupies this site. The old numbers of these houses were 1598 and 1602. March 1923.
