Bronx: Boston Road - 179th Street (East)

2064 Boston Road, at the N.E. corner of East 179th Street, showing the Peabody Home for Aged Women. It stands on the site of "Uncle Daniel Mape's Temperance House." The house was razed and on its site appears (G.W. Bromley map of 1924 as revised to September 1932) a 3-story brick building, occupied by the Institute for Negro Protestant Children. 1902.
