Manhattan: 9th Avenue - 29th Street (West)
Ninth Avenue (foreground of No. 1 and not seen), at the N.W. corner of West 29th Street, (left) showing the "Milk Sheds" of the New York Central Railroad. These occupy the entire block bounded by 29th and 30th Streets; and Ninth and Tenth Avenues. In the Spring of 1931 they will be razed for the new Parcel Post office of the Post Office. Steel for same will rise in February 1932. Views 2 and 3 show the southerly side of the yards (north side of 29th Street) and tenements on 10th Avenue.
