Queens: 54th Avenue - Maurice Avenue

Fifty-fourth Ave. (Newtown Ave., tracks thereon), at the S.W. corner of Maurice Ave., showing the old Scudder farmhouse. Other owners of this house were James Way from 1852 to 1860; H.F. Way from 1860-1873. This house stood formerly on the N.W. corner of the above mentioned streets in what is today a part of Mt. Zion Cemetery. March 1923. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
