Brooklyn: St. Edwards Street - Auburn Place

St. Edwards Street, north from Auburn Place toward the Brooklyn Navy Yard. On the left, where Leo Place meets St. Edwards Street, is the Latteman shoe factory. On the right is Public School No. 67. The dwellings preceding the school were later razed and an annex added to the school. All the buildings on the west side of the street were later razed, as shown in views 2 and 3, to make way for a new public housing construction. The shoe factory can be seen coming down in the later views, view 3 being north on Leo Place and shows also the public school with its annex. P. L. Sperr.
