Queens: 73rd Avenue - 179th Street

73rd Avenue, north side, at 179th Street, showing the old Brinkerhoff Homestead, built about 1700. Later it was known as the Skidmore house and also the J. Diehl house. The latter owned it in 1873. In 1891-1909 it was on the 38-acre farm of Schleider. P. L. Sperr Views 1,2: March 31, 1927
