21st Avenue, at 27th Street (vantage point). The view is northwestward toward Berrians Neck, where the Astoria Light, Heat and Power Company's plants and gas tanks are located. This property was at one time part of the George Woolsey estate and the area known as Casina or Lawrence Point (See "Annals of New-town"--1852). P. L. Sperr March 23, 1932
