Manhattan: 10th Street (West) - Washington Street

Empire Brewery, 287 West 10th Street (formerly Amos Street), north side, between Washington and West Streets, built in 1878 by Beadleston and Woerz, the proprietors. The building extends through the block to Charles Street, and used to have a wing at 674-6 Washington Street, which was demolished in 1930. May 20, 1933. P. L. Sperr.
