Bronx: Grand Concourse - 162nd Street (East)

(1) Grand Concourse, east side, north from East 162nd Street. At the S.E. corner of East 163rd Street, appears the servant's cottage of the Robert Simpson family. The main house being at the N.E. corner of East 162nd Street (E. Robinson's map of 1885). May 16, 1928. P. L. Sperr. (2) The same, at a later date. Note the clearance extending from East 162nd to 163rd Streets which was created by the demolition of the two houses of Robert Simpson.
