Active Atheism These huge caricatures of the Church & Czarism, made by New York Communists, are like those constantly used in Russian antireligious propaganda. These grotesque figures may have meant a great deal to real grown- up r e d s at meeting in Starlight Park, th Bronx, in New York City, March 16th, 1930, but they were just amusing toys to the youngsters gathered about them. The figure at left represents the Church - (Rasputin, the Black Monk) and at right is Imperialism in figure of Nicholas - Czar of all the Russians.
