Manhattan: Hester Street - Essex Street

Hester Street, north side, east from Essex to Suffolk Streets. Note the flag of P.S. No. 75 (Norfolk Street, west side, north of Hester) across the roofs. To-day (1937) this has been replaced by P.S. No. 62, which also occupies the sites of buildings in the foreground. No. 41 Hester Street, is a 3-story frame house with a brick front. About 1905. Ewing Galloway.
