Manhattan: Morningside Avenue - 125th Street (West)

Morningside Avenue, west side, north from W. 125th Street, and showing at the N.W.corner of this point, St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church. To the rear of same is the Convent occupying a site at the S.W. corner of W.126th Street (formerly Lawrence) Street. This church was erected here in 1860 as the German Church of Manhattanville. Views 1 and 2 are similar, while No. 3 shows the church front and the adjoining parish house. Buildings shown to the left of the latter bear No.'s 409 to 413 W. 125th Street.
