Manhattan: West End Avenue - 96th Street (West)
740 West End Avenue at N.E. corner of 96th Street, "The Della Robbia", the original building erected on the site, some time between 1910 and 1916. The Riverside Theatre, shown on 96th Street, was built about the same time. The small house above it is the rather older "Theodora", five-story apartment house; it will be demolished about 1930. The building with the grocery store, shown in part on the N.W. corner opposite The Della Robbia, was erected about 1900. About 1920. New York Sun Staff Photographer. Gift of E. M. Jenks.
