Manhattanville: Dr. John E. Ferdinand home at No. 230 West 125th Street, south side, west of Seventh Ave. Today (1937) this site is included in the lot upon which stands L.M. Blumstein's Department Store, No. 230-244 West 125th Street. Dr. Ferdinand resided here between 1880 and 1887 having lived (according to Phillip's Elite Directory) in the years 1874-1875 at No's. 29, 31, 35 West 127th Street. Unknown date.
