Prominent of these is the unfinished Empire State Building. To the left are the Chanin, Chrysler, 10 E. 40th Street, Lincoln and other buildings. At the right appear the New York Life and the Metropolitan Insurance Co. Buildings. The piers in the foreground are No's 57 to 61 inclusive. Note at the right margin the National Biscuit Co. plant, occupying the entire block, bounded by 15th and 16th Streets, between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues.
