Queens: Corona Avenue - 90th Street
Corona Avenue, north side, east of 90th Street, showing St. Marks African M.E. Church and Cemetery. The African Church as it was originally known was established in 1828 on donated property. It was repaired in 1925. The bodies lying in the cemetery surrounding the church were removed therefrom to Mount Olivet Cemetery about 1930.
