Manhattan: Sylvan Terrace - Jumel Terrace

(1) and (2) Sylvan Terrace (formerly Sylven Place), west from Jumel Terrace. This little block of wooden houses, terminating in an elevation on the east side of St. Nicholas Avenue, was a real estate development of the early 1880's, when this part of town was still suburban.
