Richmond: Arc Place - Tysens Lane

Arc Place (formerly Amboy Road), at the N.W. corner of Tysens Lane, showing the old Britton House. It was built between 1650 and 1660 and demolished in 1896, being one of the oldest structures on Staten Island. It was used as a Colonial court house. It was also used as a hospital by the British during the Revolution. Prior to 1896. By Wm. T. Davis through P. L. Sperr.
