Manhattan: 5th Avenue - 39th Street

Fifth Avenue, east side, north from East 39th to 41st Street's, showing prominently the Union League Club. This is located at the N.E. corner of 39th Street and is a magnificent specimen of Queen Anne architecture. The F.W. Woolworth Co. had a modern store structure erected on this site in 1938. The Club had previously moved to their modern Colonial building at the S.W. corner of Park Avenue and East 37th Street. About 1890 Gift Thru New York Historical Society
