Manhattan: 120th Street (West) - 3rd Avenue

Riverside Park: A set of 2 views northward from a point near West 120th Street. Above the shrubs on the left appears the Tomb of General Ulysses S. Grant overlooking the Hudson River. Upon the latter is a ferry boat just putting into the slip at West 125th Street. Shown in view No. 2 is the New York Central Railroad paralleling the waters edge. Today, (1938) the tracks have disappeared, having been covered over during the West Side Improvement, for an account of same, see, booklet published by the Department of Parks on the opening occasion October 12, 1937.
