A general view of the upper Manhattan - Washington Heights section of the City, showing prominently the buildings of the College of the City of New York, the Lewishohn Stadium, Jasper Oval, St. Nicholas Park and the Manhattan and Jersey towers of the George Washington Bridge now under construction. Across the lower right corner runs Eighth Avenue. The park boundary is St. Nicholas Avenue. Wending its tortuous way through the college grounds is Convent Avenue. Amsterdam Avenue is at the rear of the Stadium separating this feature from the old Hebrew Orphan Asylum. Broadway and Riverside Drive are next in order.
