Manhattan: Washington Street - Rector Street

Washington Street, east side, north from (No. 101, extreme right), Rector Street, showing an early view of this downtown area which has undergone many changes. The most radical was the replacement of the double, white front tenement (No. 105-107) by the Bowling Green Neighborhood House. The tenement adjacent to same became St. Georges Roman Catholic Church about the same time (about 1927?). For views of both structures mentioned see files under their respective addresses.
