Manhattan: 5th Avenue - 68th Street
Fifth Ave., at and adjoining the N.E. corner of East 68th Street (right) as viewed in a southeastward direction and showing the homes of H. P. Whitney (No. 1 East 68th Street) and Louis T. Hoggin (No. 874 Fifth Ave.). The empty lot appearing on the right is at the S.E. corner of this point and upon same formerly stood the home of the late Chas. T. Yerkes. The side wall exposed by same is that of No. 868 Fifth Ave., a structure occupied by Thomas Fortune Ryan. July 21, 1937. P. L. Sperr.
