Manhattan: 11th Avenue - West Street

11th Avenue, north from its beginning at West and Gansevoort Streets. In the foreground is the Gansevoort Market Stand. To the left are the distinctive buildings that constitute West Washington Market. Beyond are the Hudson (North) River municipal piers that line the west side of 11th Avenue. The 11-story utilitarian structure on the right is the National Biscuit Company plant. This extends between 10th and 11th Avenues.
