Jamaica Ave., at the S.E. corner of Carpenter Ave., showing in a set of two views the George Alexander House of 1891. Other owners were A. Colyer, 1860; Mrs. Leven, 1873; J.M. Alexander, 1891; and the above mentioned Alexander. In 1883 the house was not in its present shape. At this time it was an orphanage probably conducted by Mrs. Leven. May 1923. View 2: April 1925.
