Manhattan: Houston Street (East) - Mott Street

64 East Houston Street, north side, between Mott and Elizabeth Streets, showing the entrance to a 1-story frame house, situated at the rear of No. 66 (part of which is seen on the extreme right), and is a occupied by a smithy. The block of houses of which these are a part were later razed to make way for the construction of the Independent System Subway (Eighth Ave. subway). July 17, 1929. P. L. Sperr.
