Manhattan: 27th Street (East) - Lexington Avenue: Exterior views of Branhall Theatre changed to Davenport, or Free Theatre.

(1) Branhall Theatre, 138 East 27th Street, adjoining the S.E. corner of Lexington Avenue. This theatre was created in 1915 by remodelling the ground floor of an old tenement house, and is one of New York's smallest theatres. It is now known as the Davenport or Free Theatre. There is no admission charge, but a collection is taken at the conclusion of a performance. August 2, 1927. P. L. Sperr. (2) The same, with the theatre's name changed to Davenport, or Free Theatre.
