Queens: Collins Place - Northern Boulevard

Collins Place, west side, north from Northern Boulevard (foreground), showing the Embre house in a set of three views. This place was erected about 1780. William Robert Prince purchased it in 1827 after his marriage in 1826 to Charlotte G. Collins, daughter of Gov. Chas. Collins of Rhode Island. His son Le Baron Bradford Prince, at one time Governor of New Mexico, was born in 1840 and died in 1922.
