Manhattan: Maiden Lane - Front Street
Maiden Lane, west from and including Front Street (across the foreground), showing what appears to be a tobacco center at this location. This thoroughfare which derived its name from the Dutch, divides at a point above Gold Street to form in addition Liberty Street (left). The large structure forming the apex at that point is the Great American Insurance Company Building. To the left of same is the 24 storied Fire Companies Building.
