Bronx: Henry Hudson Parkway - 235th Street

Henry Hudson Parkway (Spuyten Duyvil Parkway), north from West 236th Street, showing a bridge spanning the parkway at West 238th Street. At the end of the bridge (right) is a war memorial to World War veterans of the Spuyten Duyvil, Riverdale and Kingsbridge section of the Bronx. The 6-story apartment house, on the right, is No. 3636 Johnson Ave., at the S.W. corner of West 238th Street and is called the Oxford House. May 25, 1937. P. L. Sperr.
