Queens: Metropolitan Avenue - 65th Street
Metropolitan Avenue between 65th Street and Mt. Olivet Crescent, showing on the south side of Metropolitan Avenue, a peaked roof house known as the W. Powell house of 1860, H. Homeyer owned it from 1873 to 1891; Christ Homeyer was the owner in 1909. This place was demolished in 1923. In the foreground of view No. 1 is a partial sight of the Lutheran Cemetery. The brick two story is 6522 Metropolitan Avenue. View No. 2 shows a rear view of the homes mentioned in view one.
