Queens: Astoria Boulevard - 8th Street

Astoria Square -- point of intersection of Astoria Boulevard, 27th Avenue, Newtown Avenue, and 21st Street -- viewing west from where the Newtown Avenue trolley tracks (lower left corner) join those on Astoria Boulevard. The latter thoroughfare bends southwestward to the left of the four-story building; to the right is 27th Avenue, running west from 21st Street. P. L. Sperr March 13, 1931
