Queens: Queens Boulevard - 57th Avenue

Queens Boulevard, west from Fifty-seventh Avenue, showing an area of Queens Boulevard prior to its widening. View No. 1 shows in the foreground No. 58 (old No.) Queens Boulevard at the S.W. corner of above Boulevard and Fifty-sixth Avenue. It was the property of one Arnoldi prior to 1873. Also seen in this view is the steeple of the new First Presbyterian Church of Newtown. Its steeple has since been removed. View No. 2 shows the north side of the Boulevard. The extension of Mrs. Raymond's house at the right foreground is west of Fifty-sixth Avenue. (Laconia Street also known as Horsebrook Road). View No. 3 shows the house alone prior to its removal. View No. 2 also shows the old First Presbyterian Church in the background. View No. 4 shows the house according to E.L. Armbruster to now, 1925, be on the north (west) side of Fifty-seventh Avenue (Caldwell Avenue) about 50 feet west (south) of Van Horn Street.
