289 to 299 Myrtle Avenue, north side, east from North Elliott Place to Portland Avenue, showing all the buildings on the block as seen in two separate photographs. View 1 shows Nos. 289 to 293--five-story buildings of which the tall and narrow one is a fire house of the New York City Fire Department. View 2 shows Nos. 294 to 299--a row of frame dwellings extending to Portland Avenue.
