Richmond: Willowbrook Road - Decatur Avenue

(1) Willowbrook Road, north side, between Decatur and Collfield Avenues, showing the Christopher Homestead (built about 1750), where the Committee of Public Safety met during the Revolution. This view shows the rear of the house, which is about 100 feet back of the road. The maps from 1874 to 1917 show the house to have belonged to the Standering Family. P.L.
