Brooklyn: Ocean Avenue - Voorhies Avenue

(1) Ocean Ave., at the S.E. corner of Voorhies Ave., showing the Sheephead Bay M.E. Church, erected in 1840. John Y. Mc Kane a member of this church and Superintendent of the Sunday School for over 20 years was born in Ireland in 1841 and settled in Gravesend in 1842, where he married the daughter of Capt.
