Supplement: No. 61 is commonly known as the House of Genius in which lived Theodore Dreiser and Eugene O'Neill, besides the individuals enumerated above. The former lays part of the plot of his famous novel "The Genius" in this house. In the Fall of 1939, this structure is being vacated as the owner finds continued operation unprofitable, and various plans are being suggested.
