Brooklyn: Hanson Place - St. Felix Street

Hanson Place, at the N.E. corner of Ashland Place, showing the towered structure of the Williamsburg Bank. The small buildings to the left of same (east side of Ashland Place) are the Salvation Army Quarters. Continuing to the left (north of the latter) is the Academy of Music Building. The vacant lot shown at the N.W. corner of Hanson Place and St. Felix Street was the site of the former Hanson Place M.E. Church. On the extreme lower right appears the low structure of the Long Island Railroad Station, one side of which is on Flatbush Ave., which has the Ave. Elevated Line thereon. In the background, intersecting Lafayette Ave., is Fulton Street and its Elevated Line. About 1929. Ewing Galloway.
