(1) East 63rd Street, east side, between Ave. U. and Strickland Ave., showing the Jean Martense House, built in 1656 on Mill Island; later owned by General Phil. S. Crooke, later by Robert L. Crooke. It came into the hands of the Flatbush East Real Estate concern in 1906, then to the Flatbush Improvement Co.; owned by the Atlantic Gulf and Pacific Co., since 1909.
