Manhattan: Houston Street (East) - Lewis Street

East Houston Street, west from Lewis Street, showing the triangular area "Gustave Hartman Square" (see the New York Times, November 18, 1936) being repaved. This is formed by the convergence of East Houston (left) and East 2nd Streets (right). At their apex is a 3-story (white) structure that houses the 17th Precinct Police Station (No. 130 Sheriff Street). On the right appears P.S.
