Queens: Borden Avenue - 11th Street

Borden Avenue, north side, west from 11th Street to Vernon Boulevard. All the structures seen in this view were later town down and upon the site was constructed the Queens-Midtown Tunnel plaza. The area in the front, where the fence stretches to the right, marks the exact location where the toll booths were erected. In the right background is the spire of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.
