Queens: Kissena Boulevard - Cherry Street

Kissena Boulevard, east side, at Cherry Avenue, showing an old house, formerly part of the Sanford Hall property. In 1909 it was one of the buildings of Sanford Hall Sanitorium. An inscription on the wall, directly to the left of the front door, reads: "K K K" and has the skeleton head and crossed bones. Over the entrance to the cellar, on the right is inscribed: Roth--office. June 18, 1927 P. L. Sperr
