Richmond: Satterlee Street - Decatur Street

BIDDLE HOUSE 70 Satterlee Street, Tottenville, Staten Island. This Greek Revival house was designed about 1850 by Henry H. Biddle, a prominent landowner, for his own use. The large glass-enclosed cupola that once surmounted the roof is gone, but the huge fluted white pine columns, a notable architectural feature of the building, are still sound and plumb.
