First Avenue, east side, from East 67th to 68th Streets, showing the New York Trade School occupying this avenue frontage. This structure was razed about 1932 and the new Memorial Hospital for the Treatment of Cancer and Allied Diseases erected during 1939. View 2 is an eastward view of the new building. This extends to York Avenue, beyond which appear the buildings of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research. Note the bus on 68th Street slightly east of First Avenue.
