Brooklyn: Bradford Street - Atlantic Avenue

Bradford Street, (formerly Butler Street), west side, south of Atlantic Ave., showing the Turn Hall, a frame structure 57 1/2' x 60', erected at a cost of $4,000. It was formally opened on July 4, 1864. The small house next to the Hall was a school in 1873, but was subsequently converted into a court house. 1922. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
